Nice to see you're putting in so much efforts in the rebuild.
Sure the result will be very nice.

Doh, having changed from handlebar operated rear brake to a foot brake, had to also change all this lot , also required the front brake switch to be replaced with the integrated cable switch(will it ever end lol).
Also cant find the rear bracket that holds the rear light and number plate, and I gather there as rare as hens teeth, so gonna have to look harder.
Good news, I sussed the engine is 12volts

I wasnt happy with my paint efforts so I stripped her down and sent her away to my local paint finishers (Letchworth) and 4 days later

Stripped down the engine and found some horrors.
First was the cam chain had been tightened so much its stripped the cam guide pulleys.
Next I found the outer clutch plate was in back to front (metal to metal), still I've upgraded it to HD clutch plates and springs.

Further bad news, looks like the crankshaft is bent, never noticed before until I put the flywheel back on.
As its not the genuine CF or ST engine, I would like to get hold of the correct type either full engine or the bottom end (50 or 70)
