I recently replaced mine as well. I bought Kitaco brake shoes, which cost +- the same as the Honda, and lots of people told me they are somewhat better. I don't now that for sure...

Well, rusty doesn't mean worn out. After a good treatment, lots of these little parts should be usable again.

I am hoping that a lot of the parts are going to be ok as it won't cost me as much to fix up lol.

For a few hundred pounds I should have a bike that runs (includes paying for insurance, tax and MOT).

It will surely run with such an investement.
Just don't expect it to be in showroom condition...

A bike is funnier if you can ride it, just looking at it gets bored after a while. :D

The tyres have arrived! Woohoo!

Need to order some tubes. Seen the ones I want on Monkey Bike UK but can you think of anyone else who would sell them?

Wow that's fast!
Just about everyone can sell these to you.
Each 2 wheel shop, tyre shop,...
I don't know much U.K. webshops.

Make sure you order the right size, 3.5 x 10 is the right one.

Angled or straight is a matter of preference.
And yes, the shown tubes are the right ones.

I am not sure what's on there at the moment. I am thinking they might be the straight ones.

I do think the angled ones look better though. The shipping for the 2 tubes is over £8 I think so I am going to see what else I need to order before I go buying from there.

I am going to check if CMSNL do tubes.

The tubes in the link have the angled valves.
I prefer them myself as well.
