Ha-Ha Simon, Whatever tickles your fancy eh

I don't know the exact exchange rate or if there's any or much difference between the CT and ST seats but if you can buy a Honda seat for £109 let alone $ then don't hesitate, buy one,It's liable to cost a similar amount to restore I would think.

Yeah, good old Simon....

The CT is a little les higher and shorter than the ST, a bit more sporty....

But realy comfort wise.... the CT is top.... 8-)

Sorry have been having internet issues for the last few days, randomly working and not.

Think I may go for a pattern seat. Found a reasonable looking copy thats not toi expensive in the net. Thanks for the offer of trying to reoair mine but I thinks its probably beyong economical repair.

Re: Seat Restoration
I've dismantled my seat as the cover is split in several places and the foam has some small areas across the width where the foam has worn grooves in it but is otherwise re-useable.
The seat base is undamaged but will be shotblasted and painted ready for replacing with a new cover which poses a coupe of questions; The answers may have already posted but to save me wading through loads of related messages -
Where can I buy a new seat cover with the HONDA logo? The one in the pic looks good.
Also same question applies to the rivets - where can I buy them?
Any advice welcomed

Have seen quite a range of seat covers and clips/pins on FleaBay.

Pics of my seat for refurbishment.
QUESTION;Should the underside of the foam be glued to the base? When I prised it off it was difficult to tell if it was originally glued in or had naturally stuck itself to the base!
