Cheers Waynus,

I went for 16/35 in the end.

Acceleration is good in 1st gear, not sure about the other gears as theres no space to get out of 1st in the back garden :D
The front end pops up easily if you snatch the throttle which made me laugh and have a few more goes at pulling wheelies.

1st time I've had a chain on the bike since putting in the c90 engine so I don't really have much to compare it to.
Have a few more bits to do prior to MOT, so will find out soon what it's like in the other gears.

Tufty, I think you missed a season?

I'm not a fair weather rider, I'm a fair weather restorer!
As I don't have a workshop or space most of my work is done outside, the rain early this year did not help.

Just got the back brake stop bar welded back on and been riding up and down my road today, to the dismay of my neighbours :D

Been distracted by my Z50a hard tail but aim to get the ST MOT'd in the next few weeks.

Still a rusty lady, after reading all your comments about RARE lady's, I'm still undecided about colour.
Your joke a while back about orange paintwork may lead me to paint the bike Orange.

That way it wont be another oh so rare Lady with the wrong shade of paint :D

Have a tow bar for the car now, once the bike has an MOT I'm buying the rack for the back so I can come on some of those infamous Essex runs ;)

Cheers,

Blue

Hi Blue
O/k having seen your working enviroment you have a point, but you will still need to put on a sprint before the autumnal season kicks in.

I definitely think you should paint it orange, before I painted my last ST I had decisions anxiety over color but orange is getting really good at a dax.

Go for it
