Certificate of Conformity, V55/5 & manufacture date.

Hi All I'm currently trying to get my ST 70 Lady Dax on the road so am going through the process of filling in my V765 and V55/5. Was hoping for a bit of advice with details for the V55/5 and some help confirming its age. Its Reg plate is KGJ 84N which as far as i can confirm from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_re ... 0s_to_1982 dates it '71 - '72. The Chassis Num is ST70 - 148055 and the Engine Num is ST70E - 140634 . Does this tally with the Reg and does anyone either know, or know where i can find out, its year of manufacture? Finally. The V55/5 asks for a whole load of technical details about the bike that I just don't know. The helper sheet says that all of this information should be on the bikes Certificate of Conformity. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one of these for a ST70 from (best guess at the minute) 1972? Super thanks in advance. Eliot

...just to keep this thread up to date.

No point emailing Honda Customer Support for technical details for V55/5 about ST70's... they dont have them.

I could copy paste a whole email thread of me getting increasingly incredulous, but i think everyones life will remain a little bit better without having to be exposed to that!

I think you've taken the first K as the yearletter ,before 1984 you use the last letter N as the year which is 1974-75
funnily enough my ST is ST70-148013 so was probably on the same ship from japan in 1975. were related bj
