C90 12v with Electric start, Bolted it in today and it went straight in, need to make some minor modifications to the cam cover and chain guard but I'm happy with the way it looks.
Just need to get a carb, manifold and electrics now!
Oh and finish my Blue bike :)

Thanks xpress,
Mudguards are painted with a rattle can, mattblack,They are a bit rough but will do for now.
I actually like the look.
Rims are powered coated gloss black and hubs clould silver, that's how I got them so can't take the credit for the work :)
I did ask the guy I got them from and he said the rims were blasted before powder coating and the hubs hand sanded then painted again with a rattle can.
I think they look good?

My goal is to get the bike road worthy before I touch the frame paint, and I'm still not certain what colour to go.
Pastel Green or Honda Orange?

I have an original Blue st70 which is staying that way, so this ones going to be a bit different hopefully.
Brought it for parts, managed to get the v5 so it's turned into my custom bike :D

Looking good that engine!
pssst..; there are 115cc kits available for these I think (same for DX90 and CD90) which will make it run 70mph+

One step at a time Waynus!
I have to buy all the other missing parts like carb, manifold, exhaust, controls, chain, coil, rectifer, brake switch, cables 1st!
And most likly a few more bits I have missed.

If anyone has any bits they dont want then I will gladly take them ;)

Hi
I see you have done a tester on your frame for the honda orange 'looks good' I now see what you meant about the carb placement you might possibly have to have a modified manifold.
See you soon Tufty

Cheers Tufty, Hope you feeling better, too many coffees?

I dont want a forward facing carb, i have seen a few goose neck and swivle base manifolds that look like they will do the job on paper, but if anyone out there has done this then let me know what you used.
I want it to look like an ST70 not a forward facing CUB, therfore the carb has to face backwards or at least offset backwards.
Not as easy as you think when you have a big fat 12v starter motor in the way!
Also have a plan for the old air filter, watch this space, another thread on this forum gave me the idea :)

Thats if i get the wiring sorted.

I aslo have the colour now, just dont know whats its called, yet.
