Position light

Hi, I have slowly been Restoring my 1976 ST70. I have picked up a complete new headlight as the old one was broken. The problem is that the new one dose not have a position light (parking light) just a main bulb for high and low beam. Will it pass an MOT? Has anyone else had tis problem? Thanks David

Hey Dax-it! Where did you get the Winker Brackets? I have 2 bikes that have brackets that are missing or damaged.

BE VERY carefull about wiring as I have different years that have minor (catastrofic) differences. All my CTs very somewhat. And they are very different from my Dax Exports.

Hi there

I got the brackets off a chap who had cut them off his bike because he didnt want them on the bike he was working on for some reason!!! Well, that suited me fine - out of the trash can and onto my bike.

Sandblasted them, measured out the locating positions on the forks and tack welded them on. As for the wiring, I was told by Waynus that there shouldn't be any issues (from what I hear on here, he's probably forgotten more than I know) so I think I'll carry on without too much worry but I will keep an eye open for anything as one never knows!!!
