Paint codes

Ok, I've managed to score myself a '72 ST70. She needs a little tidying here and there but is taxed and MOT'd and starts and runs well. Happy days!!! Does anyone know how I go about identifying the paint code so I can get some spray paint? Paul.

Are all mud guards painted or are some chromed? it seems to vary.

I have the german helmet type that look badly painted in silver.

I believe the original helmet mudguards were all painted silver on the ST70.
CT70's had chrome short type mudguards.

That's correct.
CT's and ST's of certain types (such as Belgian) had the shorter chromed version.
The German type fenders were always painted silver.
