It seems that i've struck a nerveI make no apologie for this as if this is what it takes to get a responce then so be it
statistics are great if your an accountant!! Personally looking at the stats, it doesnt look good, 19 pages, of mainly 0 feedbacks! if you think that this is good, then you must work for Barclays

Yes I get the point that people will "graze" the site, pick up info then leave, fair enough, but they can get that info anywhere on the web!
Granted all a "Club" means is "An association of people with common intersest" would'nt it be good if it was that bit more?????? Trying to get people to post Replys, photos, anything, is like getting the pope to do your wedding. I've tried to inject some new features, "Wish you where here", "Show us yours.....indoors"...................These were quite recent postings. I will be posting some new features soon intitled, "Bike of the Month" were people can post pictures of thier bikes, so that we may vote on them. This would need input from you to set up, but i'm sure it would be a good feature. Also a "You and your bike", a post dedicated to putting a face to peoples names???
So James, in conclusion It would be nice to hear from you at least once a month, being the creator and all.If i have offendend you personally then for that I apologise, but for raising the points the way I did I, I do not.
Some people do not know how to post pictures, I did'nt until recently. maybe an idiots guide would be useful.
If we all spent more time replying and have fun on this site rather that using this site as a "footfall" measure, then maybe we could all get somthing from it!!
Many thanks Si
I agree it's not good that a visitor will look at 19-20 pages and not sign up. That's very common on the Internet and it's difficult to convert them into members. You also need to remember that the majority of visitors to this site aren't all that Internet savvy, don't have a lot of a free time, are too busy restoring/fixing their bikes etc. Also, you wouldn't believe the number of emails I get from people who have problems logging in etc.
This website will never go away, it has 3+ years of invaluable advice/help on it. Just occasionally it gets a bit quiet and we obviously need to address that. I commend what you're doing, trying to get discussions going etc and hopefully the ship will change direction, it just takes a little time.
Re: Pictures - This is something I urgently need to look at. There is the ability to add photos directly to your post but for some reason they aren't the right size so you have to scroll. I will get around to fixing that very soon
