Wish you were here?

Hello all,

Now I know how to save images theres no stopping me So I thought, how about a new feature, "Wish you were here". Its an excuse to take pictures of your bikes in different "poses" any were in the "world" It would also give others a chance to see our bikes.

I'll start the ball rolling

I thought you were an electrician not a make up artist
Or is that your weekend bag on the back rack ??????????????????

I keep that on the back with extra tools as my "support vehicle" to you when we go out riding

You will need panniers as well

This feature has obviously gone down well........................NOT Whats wrong with everyone???? This site has become a, "Look but dont comment site" and is now completly BORING It would be nice to hear from new menbers, and for that matter old ones too. Even the creater of the website can't be bothered as I still don't have the logo yet to create the club stickers. What the hell is going on???

Lets try one more feature.............................Bike of the month. you show your bike, we vote, winner is the one with the most votes at the end simple.

I know things are tight, but really............................ spending you hols on the "Hedgend Industial Estate" could'nt have been that much cheaper, especially those burgar vans!!

Hi, I've sent you the logo in an email just now. I can be bothered with the club, I'm just really busy at the moment as I've just moved house and I'm also working 7 days a week. When I get some free time I will add some new features to the site and may also get around to fixing my poorly Lady Dax!

Quite a lot of people visit the site every day, mainly to get information and search the forum. A huge number of visitors don't bother to register, they simply search for something (or land here from Google), get what they need (extremely useful and friendly advice) and then leave again. Here are some statistics for you, each month we get around 3500 unique visitors to the website. Between them they look at 70,000+ pages

It seems that i've struck a nerve I make no apologie for this as if this is what it takes to get a responce then so be it statistics are great if your an accountant!! Personally looking at the stats, it doesnt look good, 19 pages, of mainly 0 feedbacks! if you think that this is good, then you must work for Barclays

Yes I get the point that people will "graze" the site, pick up info then leave, fair enough, but they can get that info anywhere on the web!

Granted all a "Club" means is "An association of people with common intersest" would'nt it be good if it was that bit more?????? Trying to get people to post Replys, photos, anything, is like getting the pope to do your wedding. I've tried to inject some new features, "Wish you where here", "Show us yours.....indoors"...................These were quite recent postings. I will be posting some new features soon intitled, "Bike of the Month" were people can post pictures of thier bikes, so that we may vote on them. This would need input from you to set up, but i'm sure it would be a good feature. Also a "You and your bike", a post dedicated to putting a face to peoples names???

So James, in conclusion It would be nice to hear from you at least once a month, being the creator and all. If i have offendend you personally then for that I apologise, but for raising the points the way I did I, I do not.

Some people do not know how to post pictures, I did'nt until recently. maybe an idiots guide would be useful.

If we all spent more time replying and have fun on this site rather that using this site as a "footfall" measure, then maybe we could all get somthing from it!!
