year of st

hi have just had this given by a friend
any idea of approx year under paint its badged as st50 the Honda badges are solid ali type not transfers have frame number if any one can help (just tried to upload picture but file size to big will take another)

First of all, welcome to the site.
Based on the blurry pictures, it was built probably between '69 - '71.
Frame and/or engine number would help big time.

great help was in two minds about restoring it or keeping it for parts for my 71 st.
think i will do it .
only thing missing is rear mud guard and back light.
will drop bits of at shot blaster next week and make a start

Hi, I have a similar question. I recently acquired a Japanese ST70 (all labels are in Japanese). This bike has a detachable front end. I am wondering what year it was produced. The frame is stamped, ST70-3007298. The engine is ST70E-S09362. The only other English I could find said, ST70 with a Roman numeral II-1250. This is my first Honda. Any info about its history would be appreciated.
