Should we allow non-members to view the forum?
What does everyone think? At the moment I have it set so people need to join the forum to be able to view the topics/posts etc.
I did this for security originally but I have been thinking about it and I feel people might not join the forum unless they can see it first.

What does everyone think about it?

Just for the record the site get well over 100 unique visitors (different people from all over the world) per month yet only a few of those have actually joined up!

Thanks :)

Guess what I voted
I think that people will more likely to register this way.
Otherwise, they can't read the information they're looking for.
Once registered, they are likely to came back and hopely start to post.

I would think letting visitors read the forms but not post or see galleries. I personally want to read what a few member say before joining forms. Get a feel for how people are before hand. . .

The site traffic has quadrupled in the last month alone! We are getting a lot of people visit us from Google and a lot of people are reaching the forum but are not registering.

I have allowed non members to view the forum now :)
