rear shock top covers

hi all,does anyone know where i can get hold of a pair of rear shock top covers,cms have them in but the frame nos they fit dont apply to mine,mine is a 1976 st70 ,frame no is142593 on mine ,will they fit ? mine have split around the top which is odd,has anyone had this problem?
