BATTERED OLD SEAT BASE WANTED

HI EVERYONE

I NEED A SCRAP/BATTERED OLD SEAT BASE OFF A HONDA 6V ST70 OR DAX?? ARE YOU CONFUSED BY THIS REDICULOUS WANTED ADVERT?? WELL, I'M CONFUSED BY HAVING TO ASK IT BUT, THERE IS A GOOD REASON!!

IF ANYONE HAS GOT ONE THAT IS WELL KNACKERED, BEYOND REPAIR AND GOOD FOR THE SCRAP BIN - SEND ME 2 PICS (ONE OF THE TOP AND ONE OF THE BOTTOM) OF IT PLEASE AND IF IT SUITS THE PURPOSE - SEND IT MY WAY (BY THE CHEAPEST POST POSSIBLE - NO SILLY COSTS PLEASE £££) IF YOU DONT WANT IT !!

WILL GLADLY PAY THE ACTUAL POST COST TO SEND IT TO ME

Go on, what's the reason then?

Are you looking at building a 'special' and need an old base to use at a pattern or just looking at getting some new bases manufactured?

I thought if I didnt put a reason, someone would ask me what the reason actually was!!

Its quite simple really - the person who owned my ST70 (that I am currently rebuilding) before me, for some crazy reason, decided to remove the small recess that the latch hooks into to keep the seat in its permanent position!! I just cant work out why but, the rest of seat base is excellent (just needs slight straightening on edges) and I'm damned if I'm gonna buy a new or secondhand seat just for the sake of welding a small piece of metal back onto the bottom!! I want to remove the small piece off the old battered seat and just weld it onto mine so its all OK to put back on!!

ALL SORTED!!! GOT A SEAT BRACKET FROM A VERY NICE GUY OVER IN OZ!!!
