STARTING RESTORATION QUERIES
Hi,
New kid on the block, just starting on a 1972 ST70--Owned for 15 years, now needs a big face lift.

Is the original colour code available from the frame number or what colours were available in 1972?
Where can I purchase a copy/replica of the original "flower power" seat, if such a thing exists?
Are the engine crash bars as in the picture on the font cover of the Clymer Honda Repair Manual available?
If not can anyone supply me with some pictures to make a set up?

Thank you in the hopes of some early replies.

very latest.jpgHi
I take it you have one of the very rare Lady Dax if you are looking for the holy grail the seat cover you will find many others who search for such a thing but you will have to climb many mountains and fight many ebayers who look for the same thing with deep pockets so look at buying a replica as for the crash bars they are off of the CT70 for the american market they do come up on Ebay occasionally and if you search the posts you will find the paint code you are looking for
P.S where in the universe do you reside

Re: STARTING RESTORATION QUERIES
Many thanks for your very prompt replies and information.
I have seen the CT 70 engine bars for sale on an American site--will they fit the ST70?
I have decided to strip the bike down and see if any original paint traces can be found.
The seat--well a replica would do, but have not been able to locate anyone selling these as yet--any ideas?
With thanks again for your help--it certainly seems to be a friendly lively and helpful Club.

Regards
