Wiring diagram - 1982 ST 70
Hi,

Some months ago I bought this 1982 ST 70. To me it seems the model is slightly unusual - some spares differ from earlier models.

I find the wiring diagrams I´ve seen not entirely accurate with the cables on my bike. Also - on the bike there is one "resistor" (CMSNL spare parts drawing for -82 French model) between the front fork legs that I haven´t found anywhere, either.

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for 1982 ST 70 (French model)?
Is there a model designation (like A, B or something else) that would make it easier to search for spares, etc?

Hello Waynus
If it helps I've got a couple of wiring diagrams for earlier 1970's models I could scan and send you which may give you a clue. Also if you could send your frame number it could be useful to identify which loom it uses. I'm sure there's many more well informed ST'eers out there than I am but if this helps so be it!

The frame No on my bike above is ST70 6301864.
Engine No is ST70E 6301859

I´m sure there is some sort of model suffix too (like A, B or C), but I don´t have a clue about that one.

I´ve really tried to find a matching wiring diagram, but only managed to find either older or newer ones. Would be great to have one to put into the "workshop manual" I´ve already got (with the wrong diagram in).

I've got a original wiring diagramsfrom the original Honda parts list dated 1978 that covers all models from frame no. 6106173 onwards for the ST70K3.I can scan and send a copy if you'd like one.
I've also got 3 complete looms which is also a bit confusing to konw which one I need as some parts fit and others seem to have different connections. I'm far from being an expert but let me know if I can help. Also see the message under LIFAN engine heading on his site.I'll be at the Rayleigh show Oct 7th.
