She runs, BUT..............
I need a little help.. Maybe big help, who knows...

I have finally had the chance to get the exhaust valve sorted and hole in exhaust fixed, cleaned out the carb and jets etc, new fuel line, New Spark plug. I kicked her over and she started.

BUT

When opening the throttle she seems to want to die on me. she is not running very well. I have played around with the mixture screw to no avail.

ANY IDEAS?

I had a very similar problem which turn out to be a combination of two things.
Air leak on the intake manifold and a bad routed slack throttle cable.

I'm not say its this but make sure your cable is taught and works smoothly.
Check for air leaks, I think this was the main culprit.

Hope you get it sorted,
