12v regulator placement
Just finalising the 12v conversion on my st and I'm wondering where to put the regulator.
Currently have fitted it on the inside of the frame using the bolts for the helmet holder.
It fits perfectly and is easy to access, which is what I want but I'm concerned about it being close to the battery.

This is my 1st 12v conversion and I've not run the bike for to long only really started and stopped to check the wiring and starter motor.

Do these get hot?

There's a good 10mm gap between the battery and the regulator so it should be ok?

Where have you put yours?

Cheers,
