Hey,
I got a ST70G2 recently, and I've been having some issues with the idle. Had some problems getting the bike started up, but that just ended up being the throttle cable being disconnected from the handle.. Then it got pretty interesting. First of all, the bike just won't start without giving it some gas. The bike won't run without constantly giving it gas most of the time, but sometimes it just seems to accelerate on its own. So the idle is REALLY jumpy and bad.
The throttle cable is just fine, moves freely. I don't think there's any air leaks in the carb, seems pretty unmolested. Tried running the bike without the gas tank's cap on, made no difference. Running quickly short on ideas here.
