Engine side covers

I am slowly tidying a Honda ST50, and have a question about the aluminium engine side covers. Can anyone tell me what the finish is? I thought it was a silver paint (no idea of code etc), but on closer look I'm not so sure. Is it just polished and laquered? Any advice very much appreciated.

Ignition cover = polished
Most clutch covers = grey (silver cloud mettalic) altough some (manual clutch) have polished clutch cases as well.
