Hi folks!

I'm a newbie here so excuse me if I'm asking a daft question or questions, please.

I've always fancied a ST70 since I seen them years ago in Tenerife, especially in the Rothmans colours.

After seeing loads of trick bits on Monkey Bikes UK site as well as frames and nearly everything else I'd need to build one from scratch I have to ask, is it possible? I don't want it to be standard so I feel it would be a waste of bike that could be restored if I could find one cheap. I'm not fussed about resale value either so if it ends up on a "Q" plate I'm not going to be worried. I just want an affordable project I can dodge away on in the spare room and a home for that C90 engine I have in the shed. Thing is I can see most of the major parts but it's the little things like engine and swing arm bolts seat hinges and the like that bother me, I can probably make a wiring loom if I really put my mind to it, but can the other bits be found somewhere?

Has anyone on here done this?

And, has anyone got a pic of one in the Rothmans colours, I saw years ago?

Cheers

Hi mate,

I am going to be doing mine in Rothmans at some point, got an NSR250 to go that way too

Thought my idea was original, damn, I have not found any pictures of one in Rothmans so if you find one please post it up.

Good luck and look forward to see your pictures, mine will more than likely be a while as I'm skint!!

Cheers
