Throttle Return Trick
My throttle does not return very well (or at all mostly) and I have researched and found it is typical and purposely that way sometimes. However, I found this on lilhonda.com and I wondered if anyone can explein it to me. I would like to try it as I have a huge selection of springs laying about.

By looking at the drawing it looks like 3 pieces I need to add? A spring and a plunger and a stop? Or is it just a spring and the other two parts are already in there?

What is the best way to get a throttle grip off without danaging it? Anyone do this little mod before?

Remove the slide, disconect cable and you have your throttle return spring.fit a stronger spring.Unlikely to achieve desired result on its own but will help.No extra parts needed
Strip ,clean, and re-grease twistgrip etc. There is an easy way to remove the handgrip undamaged - high pressure air line(100psi) ish.Insert blowgun end between grip and handlebar and it will expand grip and enable removal

Hi Chief,
Thanks for that advice on the carb end (will try that also). This picture, above, is the throttle assy at the handlebar where it shows a spring being added.
