Electrical Power(less)
There's a website called hondaminitrail.com that sells a 6 volt battery for the CT70 and they say " 6-volt battery with 4.5amps, more than twice the amperage of the stock original battery. This battery is really nice. First the battery is sealed so you will never have acid leaking out of the battery from over-charge or any other reason and with double the amps, all of your accessaries work twice as good. The horn honks loud at idle as well as the lights operating at peak efficiency at idle".

The price $13.95 US........ I bought one. Installed and the lights are barely there at idle and work about like the old one did at high revs. I suppose for $13.95 what did I expect unless.... there is something wrong? I was wondering if perhaps I have such an old headlight that it needs replacing?

I do have the correct wattage blinker bulbs on order right now so will eliminate that as a cause.

Any ideas? Or is this just the way it is?

Thanks all!

I'm afraid that's the way it is.
Your head light doesn't work trough the battery anyway.
If would have been a good idea to buy a maintenance free gel battery...

I opnly spent $13.95 for that battery so I can still get something else. Funny but that exact battery I bought for $13.95 sells for $31.95 on another parts site. I think the place I bought it made a mistake. My gain, in that instance.

I'll google the gel maint/free batteries. Thanks!
