Anyone got a CT registered?

My CT project is nearing completion and I'm starting to think ahead of getting it on the road. I'm pretty sure it has not been previously reged but I will check with dvla. Presuming it doesnt I wonder how to take this forward as it's an import. Has anyone been through the process and how did you do it, did Honda uk help with ID and import docs or were veichle licensing not bothered about an import? Mines a 69-71 according to frame number and iv also put a 110 engine in, will this also cause a problem (seen as modification)?
