converted to lifan 125 BUT WIRING TO MOTORIS DIFFERENT

i RCENTLY PUT A LIFAN 125 IN MY ST70 AND I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO WIRE TO THE MOTOR. the harness has a plug but the moter has individual wire. Can anyone help me.

Have you still the original 6v wire loom in the bike?
Or is it an NT 12v ST70?

i converted it to a 12 volt wiring harness and all componnets have been changed

So you have the original Lifan ignition, and what 12v loom have you got?
Do the colours of the wires match? If not, I'll put all colors here.
You'll have to cut the connector and use universal cable shoes. (the female / male versions)

from the motor i have White,yellow,black and red stripe,blue and white stripe,grren and brown stripe, and green. From the harness I have red, red white stripe,white,yellow,black and white stripe. These are all in a plug. the wires from the motor are not in a plug. If you could help me that would be awesome. I m an idiot when it comes to wiring

You can buy the block connectors as well. (I only know shops in Belgium / Netherlands who stock these, but I imagine you should be able to find these in the U.K. as well.)
Anyway, her it goes:
LIFAN IGNITION CABLE COLOURS:
Yellow = Lighting
White = + battery
Black(Brown?)/Green = Earthing
Black/Red = + CDI
Blue/White = Pulse CDI
Green = Neutral switch light

You know by any chance which harness you have? Didn't it came with an instruction or can't the dealer tell you which color is what?
There are 100 different kind of harnasses around... Finding out yourself which cable goes to were can be quite tricky...

Thanks very much for your help. I will give it a shot. Can you tell me the best place to get fork seals for this. I have ordered them from the dealer and they are wrong. He says his parts book doesnt go back far enough. I am guessing that this is a 69 to 71 st70
