Hi all
Any ideas on how to move the ball bearing in the footrest.I've soaked it in WD40 overnight and tried to scrape away the rust with a little screwdriver, but it is seriously rusted in.Do I have to drill it out somehow?? or should I keep trying with the WD40?
I've managed to free up every other rusted part, but this one is stubborn!

Re: stuck bearing
When you fold the foot peg down it clicks into place over a ball bearing on a spring....I know it's the most obscure problem, but it means my foot peg won't move past a 45 degree angle because the ball bearing won't go down.

Hiya
spoke to Shorrocks today and he told me about the spring I was looking a my yellow bike which has newer pegs but you are right on my lady dax there is a ball bearing and spring but these move quite easily perhaps a little bit of localised heat might help
