I have a UK 6v st70

Hoping someone has a same bike to confirm something for me. When i have ignition on, only the brake lights work via switchs on the front and rear break.

Can anyone confirm please that you need to have the engine running to use the side and main beam?

Brake light + indicators + horn + neutral light operate trough the battery, so no need to have the engine running (if the battery is in good condition).

The high beam (front light) only works on running engine.

Hi
I can confirm what Waynus is saying on my 6v the battery was a bit naff through being stored so i brought a conditioner/charger, the MOT inspector was well aware that on most 6v machines only the rear brake light and the horn work when the engine is not running although with the engine idling the headlight is pretty poor.

well i don't have indicators :D

Didn't have my horn hooked up. But neutral and brake lights were running only off battery.

Was pestering me as I don't need electric issues with my getting it on the road moment :P
