Has the frame been sand blasted? Do you have the number on a paper, tax plate or anything?
It can be easily redone afterwards. Every garage has these stamps.
Normally, they cover the number off with tape and they put only a single layer on top of it.
There are other ways of doing this as well, but I don't know all of them.

The engine is nice and shiny and almost ready to bolt on.
(I will fit some other parts to make it even quicker 8-) , seller said it does 60mph+ but we'll have to see about that)
If anyone is looking for a fast semi clutch original engine, I have my current one for sale!

Re: powder coating
My chassis number was hard to read after I had it powder coated, when I took it for the MOT I was worried they wouldn't be able to read it but it sailed through the test... I was prepared to remove the coating around that area if it had failed though.

One thing with powder coating is that to remove the baked on paint is very difficult (well it's easy, but to make a clean, neat job of it is vert difficult).

Hi Lee,
the frame number on one of my bikes is difficult to read so the MOT tester just asked to see the log book so he could get the reading off that.
