6V Throttle Replacement
I am looking to replace the throttle on my 6v st70 as I am not fond of the original type. I have replaced the spring with a stronger one and greased it up, however it requires constant maintenance to keep it sliding smoothly.

I want to replace it with something similar to this:

However I am aware that the cable may not be the right length for my carb, due to the angled adjuster that is coming from the top of the original carb.

Has anyone done a conversion before, if so what do I need? Will this Kitaco one fit straight on for example??

Cheers

Yes, a quick action throttle set wil fit right on.
Worst case scenario is that you would have to shorten the cable a little bit, but normally the extra length (meant for tuning carbs) can be compensated by the adjustment screws.

The best buy in this segment is the Daytona set.
