Bike jumps when selecting first
I am in the process of ironing out the little problems with my bike, with which you lot have been very helpful (love this forum) and this is one. My bike jumps quite aggressively wen selecting first from neutral, I have heard adjusting the idle should solve this but I it still seems to do it even when the idle is as low as I can get it to run. Any ideas? I believe a new clutch was fitted a year or so ago and it has done very few miles since, could this be an issue. It is a semi auto.

Most likely you need to adjust your clutch.

Untighten the bolt and nut of the clutch case (in the middle of the case, do turn the bolt out completely!)
Push down the kickstarter.
Tighten the bolt by 1/2 turn and check again.
As soon as you feel pressure on the kickstarter, tighten up the nut to keep the current setting secure.

This is the setting on which you will have to do the least effort to shift, and the clutch operates the fastet.
That being said, a new (reinforced) clutch is harder to operate, and can indeed cause some 'jumping'.

Good luck!

Worked an absolute treat, it's now a pleasure to ride. Smooth gear changes up and down and no jumping what so ever. Much appreciated.
