Rectifier Wiring
Hi All,

I have just purchased a 6v rectifier for my 1979 st70, as it didnt seem to have one, the wires were just clamped to a metal plate, not a rectifier.

The rectifier I have bought is the one below. I have also included a link to the wiring diagram for my bike. Any ideas which wire goes to which connector? I have a white wire and a red wire.

My assumption is that the white wire goes to the male connector on the rectifier and the red to the female connector.

Any help appreciated as I am not great with electrics.

Cheers
Ben

Re: Rectifier Wiring
How strange. It doesn't look like any kind of rectifier I have seen before. I have ordered the new rectifier so may go ahead and replace it anyway as it looks like it could do with it. Will post a pic of it if I can.
