Hi
I have covered nearly 500 miles this summer and have found that the swing arm has a bit of side to side play which is making it difficult to get the correct chain play measurement also the ride can be quite choppy, having read the workshop manual it recommends replacing the swing arm bushes, any tips on doing this as it is not covered in the manuals.

It's a fairly easy job, the only issue could be that it's sometimes quite hard to get the old ones out.
Also, check everything for excessive wear, as this could be a reason why the new ones will wear out again soon.

Good luck getting them out if they are the original ones Tufty! I tried to knock mine out and couldn't unfortunately, even with a punch and a huge mallet!

You need a press to get them out, a Honda motorcycle dealership will remove the old ones and press you some new ones in for a few quid I imagine.

My ride is choppy too... although I think it's about 20 little problems causing it!

Hi James
looks like a job for the winter, I am having too much fun on the Lady at the moment, I have also picked up a spare swing arm so I might try this first.
I have got a few pictures of my Lady on holiday which I will post shortly

Glad you're having a good time with the Lady! We've has some fantastic weather and it's such a shame I haven't been able to enjoy it on my bike, always next year!

Looking forward to the pictures!
