Bad Starter piston ring broken

Hello,
Help needed.

The spark and timing are great.

The bike will not draw fuel!
I am having issues with the bike starting,and I think I have found the issue?

I have removed the head again and re-checked the valves thay are spot on and sealing correctly getting deeper I saw the piston seamed like there was to much play! so I have removed the barrel and found a cracked top ring the barrel is not pitted or scored and looks great and the piston looks discoloured round the sides but maybe reuseable?

I hope this is the issue why it will not pull fuel through correctly?

I have seen a honda NOS C70 piston kit on ebay that looks right does anybody know if this is the same?

also the carb keeps spiting a little fuel out the overflow? I have had the carb in bits and the float valve seems ok? I have removed the bell and held the float in my hand and blew down the fuel intake and it seems to work?

barrel: the colours are mostly the result of overheating.
Reasons? Lack of oil or fuel, bad timing,...

The c70 barrel and rings are the same, if you have a OT70 head.
(you need a different barrel if you have a OT50's head)
Keep in mind you need to replace all the gaskets.

Also, check the valves for (small) leaks.
