Kick start spindle (shaft)

Hi everyone,
I've got one question. Are there any differences between kick start spindle from my engine (ST50GE) and new DAXes,.. except that disc in the ending of the new one? So, should I use the new one on my old DAX?

Yes, they are different.
The main differences in kick shafts are:

- size of the sprocket (depending on gearbox)
- kind of transmission (constant or temporary)

So you do have to look for a 6v kick shaft, for 3-speed gear box. (If that's the correct type of your engine)
