Hello everyone,
I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me with how best to repair the spark plug hole on my Honda Dax 6v (1974) cylinder head. The thread was pretty aged/worn and today the spark plug shot out with the last of the thread! I was going to remove the head and then thinking helicoil repair, but not sure exactly what's best to do and what repair kit I need. Can anybody recommend a repair and/or repair kit and is there a specific type of helicoil for spark plug hole repairs and what size and depth insert do I need. Sorry for all the questions.
