Honda st frame numbers

Hi, I'm currently restoring a 70 dax and looking to get it registered for the road but presently seem to be having problems getting the bike identified so I can apply for a V5 which has been returned from DVLA. I'm currently in correspondence with Honda Europe who can't identify the frame number, the bike would of been manufactured around 1972/4 by the colours etc. The frame number I have is ST70-141231 , Can anyone confirm that I have the right amount of digits as I think I might be a digit short on the last six as a couple of other bikes I've looked at have had 7 digits at the end?
Any information on frame numbers would be much appreciated

Hi, my Honda st70 is a June 1972 registered bike and you do have the correct amount of digits according to my numbers which are ST-1384**
