OK ... My ST came with an expensive double headlight and double LED tail lights complete with a flickering numberplate light. OK tail light was easy just remove the one that was flickering and fabricated a new stainless mounting bracket. The double headlights were so powerful that as soon as you turned them on all the other electrics simply stopped working, no tail light, brake light, indicators or horn and lets be real I didn't like them.
New single round headlight arrived, old lights removed, there was a rats nest of wires in the 2nd headlight with bad soldering and lots of insulation tape and a couple of wires came off when I took it app apart. New headlight on wires connected as they came off and bingo.... nothing at all, totally dead ha ha .... OK so a few hours of checking everything with a multimeter and I now have everything just about sorted out except there are 3 wires from the frame loom that don't seem to do anything, a yellow and red, a yellow and white and a green. All have no power coming from them and everything except the neutral light is working... Any idea what they do and if one of them is the actual wire to the neutral switch.
Oh it's an 81 ST50 and the loom has a good chance of not being anywhere close the original one LOL
