Any one fitted taper headrace conversion to their ST70?
I did this to a couple of my Honda's in the 80's and when I rebuild the ST70 I was going to replace the bearings anyway so a taper conversion makes sense.
The issue is that several of the kits list specific years yet when you speak to the dealer they say that the bearings remained constant across the years and there is no difference between them (I am talking 1970's model ST70 here, not the later Dax). If that is the case why specify the year in the first place?
Anyone bought & fitted them and if so, who from?
