custom dax

1st time on here but thought you guys might find this usefull as this problem did my head in for a few days !!. I am doing a custom dax and could not stop the carb overflowing from the overflow pipe ---- so new float valve seat and valve -no change, checked float for buoyancy all ok ,checked float shutting valve off all ok--- reset float level on tang -- no difference. then looked at a photo of a standard dax and the carb is mounted at about 30deg !! --- tried this all works ok no flooding !! result.moral is if you modify its grief.

Some trials bikes I've owned used to have a little wee if parked pointing downhill. Hope the petrol spill was kind to your paintwork.
