ST70 6V Light Switch Testing

Hi everyone.

Wondering if any one could point me in the right direction of how I could test the function of the headlight/sidelight switch. I have reason to believe my is faulty but wanted to see if I can test, or even with the right info, repair my switchbefore committing to buying a new one.

Use a multi meter set to continuity to check if the circuit is broken/complete at the different switch settings. I would think its impossible to repair a switch.
