Gearbox sprocket number of teeth

Hi all, this is my first post, I have just picked up a 1971 ST50 which is in bits and wil be asking for help over the next few weeks.

I am looking through the boxes, the gearbox sprocket is missing, how many teeth should it have, online there seems to be arange of sprockets available. I don't know if the ST50 is different from the ST70, can someone help please?

Hi lian, I'm away till Tuesday but I have original st50 owners manual and I'll see if there is a picture of one that I can put on here for you

I think it is 15 teeth as standard, but I would like to confirm.

Hi lian, there wasn't a picture in my st50 owners manual, the closest I could find was from my c50 c70 c90 manual and this is a picture of a c50 front sprocket but I don't know if it's the same as the st50 sprocket, this sprocket has 14 teeth on

I found on Wemoto website the standard was listed as 14 teeth, so thanks for the confirmation.

BTW gearbox sprockets are listed at £2.79 each on Wemoto.
