engine oil

hi just got a 1990 Honda st50j dax which oil do you recommend .

someone has told me to use Castrol power 1 .what do you think what are every one else with dax using.

Hi Davieboy, I use a oil called ROCK OIL 10W40 mineral in my st70 and it seems to work a treat

just got a email back from Castrol advancer technical and the oil they recommend is castrolpower1 4t 10w-40 and thanks st70 for your help

Just bought a litre of 20-50 mineral oil as per Haynes manual from Wilkinson's in the high street per £4

20/50 seems a bit heavy, usually Honda recommend a lighter oil, back in the 70's it was 10/30 but 10/40 seems more widely available these days.
I use Castrol Power1 10/30 but my bike is 1971 I would go with what Castrol recommend.
