Centrifugal oil filter on CT 70.
I am rebuilding a 1974 CT70 from parts but the engine is nearly complete. The handbook says remove the clutch outer cover & clean the centrifugal oil filter. The 3 screws holding the cover on are VERY tight & totally unmarked.ie I think this has never been off.Does this filter work to remove particles & are they worth removing to clean ?What does everyone do please :?: :?:

Hi rocketry, good luck with your ct70 rebuild, I haven't ever cleaned my centrifugal oil filter on mine but a IMPACT DRIVER will make light work of those 3 screws on the engine cover, I have used one on many occasions on engine covers with easy success IMG_20170904_112606.JPG
