Frame question...

never really noticed until starting projects again that the frames on my 2 are different.

3 years reg difference but both 6v and stamped as ST70, the red one has this on RH side...



i know that originally it came with a low slung Chaly type exhaust so presumably this was a mounting point and it also had full centre stand hence why the rubber is there.

has anyone else got one like this or a better idea why?

Hi old'uns, as far as I know the realy early st70s were made with the low slung exhaust and then later were made with the higher exhaust
