ST 70 lighting question
I have a question re the lights on my 6 volt Honda Dax. I have a one position ignition switch off then on. I have recently restored the bike and on connecting the battery did all the electrical checks. I have horn, neutral light and brake lights but the lights will not come on.
My question is, does the engine need to be running for the lights to work as I have not got the carb yet to get the engine going.

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: ST 70 lighting question
Hi,
My ST70 has to have the engine running for the lights to operate. Apparently this is quite normal and does not present a problem for an MOT.
Hope this has been of some help.
Pete.

As Spey250 states.

The lights are fed from the AC generator, not the battery
