Kitaco rear shocks advise
Hey guys!

Finally got round to putting the ST70 back together. I bought myself some kitaco rear shocks and have come to fit them and have a few issues.

They came with some washers and metal collars, now I can see that I have to fit the collars but what about the washers? The other issue I have is I had the frame powder coated and realised after that I hadn't removed one of the collars from the old shocks (3rd pic) and they have been coated so I need to attempt to remove it as they are longer than the ones that came in the kit.

I've attached some pics so you can see the issues!

Hi
You should be able to get the collar off with mole grips (may need a bit of heat and penetrating oil), when you say washers came with them if you are referring to the thin section washers above the shock in the first picture they look like spacers to make the collar the correct length then use the normal flat section washers behind the nut.
Love the colour by the way would like to see a picture when complete.
