Headlamp mounts

Hi guys, I got a set of forks with no headlamp mounting brackets, is it possible to fit replacement ones? I have access to a good Mig welder and can weld to a decent standard, main thing is will it distort the tubes so the bits won't fit inside and where can I get a pattern to fabricate new brackets? It would be easier to source replacements but you know how it is we all like a challenge don't we!!

I did think about something like this but I'm after a bit of originality (all be it not original) looks like I need another set really!!

Did you win these on ebay reasontle? I saw a job lots if small parts with some forks like these the same colour

I did just get them off eBay with a load of other bits, didn't look at the pictures properly and missed the missing brackets! A lesson learned unfortunately, that's why I wondered if I could repair them.

Yere I messaged the seller and asked and he said they had been chopped off grr. If you find any templates or anything g let me know as I have a set of forks with the same problem.

This must be common as I have a set with the brackets cut off as well, if anyone else has a spare pair I could do with them for my white st70.
