New project info
Hi, I just bought an interesting project, the frame number is ST70 104216, my research makes it a 1969 ST70Z, there are lots of bits missing, where would I find the info about how it should be, for example the gearbox type etc, also is this a particularly collectable model as it is a very early one? Thanks in advance for any info...

Re: New project info
Incidentally, I would be interested in pretty much any parts suitable for this bike that anyone has for sale!! Might be a bit optimistic but trying to retain as much originality as possible. This is not a do up and sell project I get a feeling its going to be a part of the family (just like most of the others)!! Cheers Alan..

Hi Barnetboya,

Try http://www.cmsnl.com/ for parts lists and costs, they have a lot of original spares and if they are not then there are alternatives.

Thanks squid, I had a look and its a good site, very useful for small parts but prohibitively expensive for larger parts, my main expense is the correct front end (removable?) decided that it's gonna go back to original, done this with other bikes and its a long slog but well worth it in the end!!
