Dax st70, no spark
Hi everyone! Just joined the Club!
I've been reading these different topics, searching answer to my problem.
Last winter/spring i've rebuilt and painted everything on my -72 6v st70 but engine. Just changed oil.

Few months ago I had the engine running and i drove with it few km's every now and then. Month ago it just didn't start and reason is lack of spark. I've changed the points and condenser. point cap is set correctly, ignition coil SHOULD be fine (tried/managed to measure ohms). Grounding should be fine 'cause it ran earlier? Whats wrong?!

Hi Eki and welcome ;)

Have you tried checking the HT cap on the end of the high tension cable, somtimes you would be better to unscrew the cap, cut off a small amount from the cable, then re-screw the cap back on, at least you know this part is good :D :D

All the best Si

Damm!
Broken (Black) wire between connector above engine and coil low tension wire connector. Glad I found it!
