wiring help

hi
i have a 1971 st50 with some wiring problems.the bike starts first kick
turn the lights on and the brake light stays on
press the back brake pedal or front brake lever and the brake light turns
off no back light at all front light stays on
turn the Ignition key off engine does not stop i have to pull the lead off + i
get a shock from the ignition barrel
have checked and cleaned all connections
any ideas will be appreciated

Sounds like a bad / faulty earthing to me...
Check all wirings for damage, make sure the earthing is clear of paint and dirt.

looks like a loose Ignition barrel will double check next sat if still ok
